The Crest Estate
Under the direction of Josef Meyer since 1985, together with his daughter Esther Dos Santos-Meyer since 2012, the Crest Estate consists of vineyards, cereal crops and pig farming with the GRTA (Genève Région – Terre Avenir) label. The Meyer family thus leases about 20 hectares of vineyards and over 200 hectares of agricultural land.
The Vineyard
The vineyard covers about twenty hectares and includes: pinot noir and pinot gris, merlot, gabarit, divico, malbec, chasselas, aligoté, viognier, sauvignon, gamay and land. It thrives on a rich and fertile soil which is perfect for this wide range of grape varieties. The wines produced under various labels, which have been developed over the years, and are for sale at the estate. Approximately 220,000 bottles are produced each year.
Guest Rooms
Since 2020 the Estate offers six guest rooms, available for rent, which have been carefully decorated to create an elegant and peaceful atmosphere. Whether you choose one of the three spacious rooms in the renovated old barn, or one of the three rooms offering breathtaking views of the Salève, each space is an invitation to experience a combination of culture and tradition at the Crest Estate.
The Winepress
Located in the heart of the Crest Estate, the Winepress boasts stunning views of the Château, the surrounding countryside and the vineyards. The 200 m2 space has a capacity for 80 seated or 120 standing guests and is ideal for organising events such as cocktails, corporate dinners, weddings, birthdays or family gatherings.
Guided tours of the museum can be organised for your guests simultaneously with your event.
